Steve Martin and the Toot Uncommons. From the album “A wild and crazy guy”. This song plus the “cruel shoes” routine and, of course, the movie “The Jerk” turned Steve Martin into a star.
In 1979 the King Tut exhibit came to America and it was crazy. People lined up for days to see him. Women wors shirts with his picture over both breasts with a the words “keep you hands off my tuts”. There was something funny about the whole Tutankamen thing.
